Absolutely outstanding from start to finish!
We recently used Smart Movers for our move from NB to Ontario and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Moving is stressful enough, but this crew made the entire process feel so much easier.
The crew was incredibly hardworking, careful, professional, and genuinely helpful. They handled our belongings as though they were their own, taking the time to make sure everything was protected and moved safely. They were also friendly, respectful, and willing to go above and beyond whenever something needed a little extra attention.
What really stood out was how much pride they clearly take in their work. They worked incredibly hard without ever making us feel rushed or like we were an inconvenience. From the first item they loaded to the last one they brought through the door, they were fantastic.
Smart Movers truly lived up to their name. If you're looking for a moving company you can trust with your belongings and your peace of mind, I would wholeheartedly recommend them.
Thank you to the entire Smart Movers crew for making what could have been a chaotic, exhausting day such a positive experience. You guys were amazing, and we appreciate you more than you know! ❤️
Thank you very much Heather , for taking the time to leave a review , it is very much appreciated . God Bless and all the best in your new home . From management and staff of Smart Movers Atlantic Saint John and Fredericton.
Excellent moving service! Polite, professional and punctual (a rarity with movers). They are not contractors so you know your stuff is in the hands of the people you are in contact with. Picked up our stuff from a storage site in Ontario and brought it to PEI for us. Would definitely use them again. Thanks Jeff!

We needed short term storage for our possessions. Both teams that were here (loading and unloading) were very friendly and professional. We could not believe how fast and carefully it was done. The official quote was higher than the one given over the phone after items and dimensions were submitted. However, we were very pleased and will recommend them to others. Thank you for a good experience.

I needed to make a full household contents move from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia to Southern Ontario. At 70 years old, alone, and never having used professional movers before, I was nervous to say the least. There are a lot of horror stories out there about furniture being held hostage, inflated prices, damage, etc. I am thrilled to say that the entire process could not have been easier and everything was smooth sailing. And the best part was that I paid exactly what I was quoted , which was significantly less than everybody else I researched.Jeff was my Atlantic contact from start to finish. Always replying to emails and phone calls promptly, even on a Sunday (more than once). The company sent me an excel program to complete, cataloguing all of my furniture and miscellaneous household items, to estimate weight and cubic feet required. It was extremely user friendly. I was contacted a day in advance by Jacob to confirm when the moving crew would arrive and they were on time almost on the dot at 10:00 am on the scheduled date. Jacob, Victor and Bogdan handled everything carefully and respectfully, most especially all of my boxes marked “fragile” which contained my precious pottery, glassware, artwork, photos and crystal. My couches, upholstered lift chair, mattress, TVs, and kitchen table were all wrapped with moving blankets and plastic wrap and came through at the other end just great. On arrival in Ontario, after having driven my car up after the pickup on a Wednesday, my furniture arrived at my new house 5 days later on the Sunday of the same weekend. Chris had called the afternoon before to advise of arrival on the following day. Louis was the driver, Chris and Jacob the labor. Chris and Jacob were awesome putting every box, item or piece of furniture exactly where requested. They reassembled my kitchen table, and a couple of other pieces of furniture that had to be taken apart at pickup time. My two heavy LazyBoy couches are oversize and I forgot to measure doorways for re-entry so they were a bit of a challenge for the guys. But they managed it like the pros they are and everything is inside exactly where it is supposed to be. The end result, my thanks to all involved and more than happy to recommend this great company. Couldn’t have done it without you troops !!! 😊 😊

Good service but super expensive… cost twice as much as we expected
Thank you Paul , for leaving a review and thank you that you appreciate our top-notch professional service . As for cost , yes we agree moving is expensive but we can assure you that our rates fully reflect the present day cost of doing business.

Excellent service, polite, hard working, and met quote
This is my first time using a moving company and I am beyond impressed. They arrived on time, in good humour, with a good truck and packing blankets, and immediately started moving. We hit the quoted time perfectly. Everything arrived in great shape. I cannot recommend them enough.

Jeff had great communication, was flexible (as I changed date last minute) and was true to his word on pricing. This being our daughter’s (a student) first move on her own, Jacob and his partner did a fabulous job of putting her mind at ease and taking great care of her things and providing a stress free move. I highly recommend Smart Moving and will use them again. Thanks to the Smart Team for the professional move and wonderful service!

Great experience – small item move
We used smart movers several times over the years. The most recent is with a small item which was too heavy for us. The boys were prompt, polite and got the job done quickly.
Also reasonably priced.
No worries with Smart Movers!

I moved Friday the 7th after having my things in storage since last June with this company. The movers were clear on when they’d arrive and they assembled everything and put everything where I wanted. My items came in the same way they were stored. Would recommend them, had no issues at all.

Family move
Your team moved my mother to her apartment and moved me to her home that I purchased all in one weekend. Josh and his team were so patient, professional, kind and calm making both moves less stressful. They worked long hours to get both moves done by Sunday evening.
They were all committed to keeping the pets safe inside throughout the move making sure they were behind closed doors inside before opening the door to outside. We could not have asked for a better team to move us!

Interprovincial, short distance move.
My move was from a large house to an apartment in a different province, some two hours driving distance. Smart Movers quoted an excellent price, showed up on time and the two packers/movers did a remarkable job, completing the packing and loading quickly, while ensuring that no damage occurred and nothing was overlooked – difficult when most of the house contents were remaining behind. I can’t say enough about the professional approach and skill demonstrated by both. Delivery the next day was again accomplished in a very short period, and they could not have been more helpful, courteous or careful. I would not hesitate to recommend Smart Movers to anyone who is looking for an affordable, professional move.

Moving my piano
Wow. Amazing service from this company! Although my move was not huge is was a delicate piece that required experience. The guys were professional, fast and efficient and courteous. The piano was well protected and they protected the floors. They were a bit later than expected but they kept in touch to keep me informed. I would definitely have this company for all of my moving needs!!! Thank You Smart Movers!

I required a removal and storage for two months then delivery to our new home. Jeff and his team were very accommodating and professional even working within a flexible schedule in case of any issues of which there were several ranging from an issue with our closing date time and a piece of furniture that would not fit, Jeff and his team removed our stress and cheerfully accepted a solution which required another small trip. Regarding the handling of our possessions all I can say is they are top notch and I highly recommend.

We looked around for a mover and when I spoke to Jeff he was very pleasant and easy to talk with. He was able to quote me right away and set up the time for Sept 28th. He called me Friday and said that they were able to come earlier and asked if I was okay with that. Saturday morning and Josh and Jacob showed up right on time. Josh quickly assessed how the move would go and everything went according to plan. Both of them were absolute pros and knew exactly what they were doing. Both of them were very nice to talk with and a pleasure to work with. A great team and very personable
people to deal with. Would recommend Jeff and his crew very highly. If you are looking for a high quality company to work with this is the one!!!! Well done!!!

I called for pick up of my tax exempt furniture. Although they didn’t have the availability at first, Jeff called me back as soon as he heard he could make my delivery work within my tight schedule. I received my furniture the same day, no issues. Very communicative and accommodating! I’ll be calling again for future moves 🙂
